CaterRail vs ezOrdering

Their checkout on your site is still their checkout.

ezOrdering puts an ezCater-hosted ordering page behind a link on your website. The commission is lower than the marketplace and it is still there on every order.

ezOrdering is the honest answer to "why am I paying marketplace commission on my own customers." It is cheaper than the listing and it stays inside one vendor, which is a real convenience.

It is still a percentage, so the fee still grows with the order, and the page is still theirs: an ezcater.com address, an ezCater account for the customer, and your storefront rules limited to what their template allows.

CaterRail is flat and on your domain. At a group's volume the difference is not subtle — a flat monthly fee stops being a cost the month a location's catering passes a few thousand dollars, and everything above that is yours. The calculator on the home page uses your own numbers.

Where ezOrdering is the right call

You want one vendor for the marketplace and your own site, and the percentage is acceptable at your volume.
